"...in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God;
which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."
1 Peter 2;10

When you enter our sanctuary you will discover a warm, welcoming and vibrant congregation at worship. We hope that you will be placed on the same frame of mind as you are invited to join in.

Our worship is a traditional service with some contemporary elements integrated into it. Moreover we attempt to make prayer central to the process of worship. Thus we incorporate prayer requests into our petitions to God. People are invited to the prayer rail to bring their burdens to the Lord.

Our small choir produces a varied repertoire of inspired choral selections. A good portion of this music is is derived from African-American spirituals. On occasion, liturgical dance is presented to the audience. A gospel choir participates in the service for those months with a fifth Sunday One portion of our service features an innovative message for children to teach and encourage them. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion together; as in all Methodist churches, our communion table is open to everyone.
