Rust United Methodist Women meets on the fourth Saturday of each month.

For several years we have been named by the Firelands District United Methodist Women as a Five Star and Rainbow unit.
As L C Church Women United member we helped to pay for a Chaplain to serve the young inmates of Lorain County Detention Home.
Contributed to Methodist charity efforts such as Nothing But Nets, Bettye Carew Hospital and UMCOR.
We made a donation to Oberlin Community Services for the relief of local residents.
Bodacious Women’s Luncheon.
A program to honor fellow Christian women nominated by various churches for their service to their communities. Held annually in May on the Saturday before Mother’s Day.
A meal held at the church on a Saturday afternoon that includes
carry-out food. It is a major fund raising event. In 2012 we
celebrated 30 years of this event.
United Methodist Women’s Sunday.
This April our theme will be “Honoring Our Queens”. We will pay homage to our senior women [age 80 and above].
